Leica Geosystems Appoints Shane O’Regan as new Sales Account Manager

(Milton Keynes, UK, 19 April 2012) - Leica Geosystems Ltd is pleased to announce the promotion of Shane O’Regan to Account Manager for Engineering and Infrastructure projects in the Midlands, East Anglia and Wales. 

As Leica Geosystems continues to thrive and grow, this newly created position will provide added customer focus into the Engineering and Infrastructure market and across the entire product range, including Leica Viva and Leica iCON TPS and GNSS, Machine Control, High Definition SurveyingTM and Monitoring.

Shane started with Leica Geosystems in 2004 in telesales before he was promoted in 2006 to Technical Support Specialist, where he was responsible for first line customer support. During his 6 years in technical support Shane has gained a wealth of experience and in-depth technical knowledge across the entire product and software range, becoming a well known member of the team. Shane has supported the installation of several major monitoring projects including systems on the Shard and at Fenchurch Street Station and over the years has assisted our research and development team in Switzerland with pre-testing before product launches.

Shane has a BSc (Hons) in Ocean Science and Geophysics from Bangor University and prior to his career at Leica Geosystems he worked as a hydrographic and land surveyor in Ireland.
