Support for New-Generation Dynapac SD-Class Pavers Building on Leica Geosystems’ unmatched worldwide experience in delivering 3D machine control solutions for paving applications to the highway, aviation, rail and tunnel paving segments since 1999, Leica Geosystems has worked with Dynapac’s engineering team to provide a seamless “plug-and-pave” interface to its new-generation SD-class pavers.
Dynapac’s PaveManager 3D option now provides an easy-to-use, robust and safety-focused levelling solution, allowing paving contractors to minimise the cost, effort and logistical problems associated with traditional stringline-setting for asphalt paving applications, whilst maintaining and enhancing the optimal asphalt surface smoothness demanded in paving today. Mix-and-match of 3D and traditional levelling sensors allows complete versatility in operation on any jobsite.
About Leica PaveSmart 3D PaveSmart 3D precisely tracks the position of the paving machine in real-time, in relation to a 3D model of the jobsite, automatically regulating steer and elevation hydraulics to produce the finished concrete or asphalt product directly from the original 3D designs found on today’s jobsites worldwide.
Designed specifically for paving applications, PaveSmart 3D’s unique features and capabilities allow asphalt paving contractors to achieve significant productivity and cost-saving benefits of 3D precision paving technology.
